ILOG consolidates consulting services
ILOG Professional Services (IPS) has consolidated its operations for Europe and the United States to provide customers and partners with a broader range of experience and best practices across industries and the ILOG product lines.

Directed by Jean Pommier, a 15-year veteran of ILOG and one of the company's top consultants, the IPS organization will continue to support ILOG's business divisions, and facilitate coordinating and implementing services.

Consulting practices
The IPS consultants formalize application requirements, identify risk areas and formulate design frameworks for applications. Their large set of skills covers the best practices in the areas of business rule management (BRM), operations optimization, project management, data visualization and advanced IT architectures.

In BRM alone, ILOG offers more than 20 predefined consulting packages ranging from specialized training sessions to workshops. These packages are organized along three tracks:

• Startup Packages (e.g., Spark and Jumpstart workshops)
• Modeling (e.g., business rule methodology)
• Implementation (e.g., migration strategy, performance tuning, architecture assessment and planning workshops)
