All-time product support record
September 2007 was a good month for Scott Rux, senior technical support engineer at ILOG USA. He resolved his 5,000th support request, setting a new all-time record for ILOG Support.

In nearly nine years with ILOG Support, Mr. Rux has answered questions for all of ILOG’s product lines: business rules, optimization and visualization. More than 140 people have worked in the same department, and only three have logged in more than 4,000 requests.

Mr. Rux’s talents are currently focused on the technical contents of ILOG Support’s extranet. Despite this work, he still fits in an occasional support request. His place at the top, however, probably won’t last long, as second-place Alain Robert, also of ILOG USA, and third-place Erwan Le Bras of ILOG Japan already have over 4,200 logged-in requests and are expected to surpass the 5,000 mark this year.

ILOG General Counsel

New head of legal
Kathleen Jason-Moreau has joined ILOG as the new general counsel and vice president responsible for the company’s worldwide legal affairs.

Ms. Jason-Moreau comes to ILOG highly qualified, having held positions from senior attorney to chief legal counsel. She has worked for the United States District Court, Central District of California, and technology-sector companies that include Hewlett-Packard, Oracle and Agilent. She is also a member of the State Bar of California and the Association of Corporate Counsel.

ILOG is proud of the high level of service it offers its customers, partners and investors. Its worldwide team of legal personnel supports the rest of the company’s departments, especially accounting and sales, with a range of internal services, and works directly with top management in corporate operations.
