ILOG Rules for .NET 3.0:

Total BRMS for .NET platform

ILOG Rules for .NET 3.0 is the best-equipped business rule management system (BRMS) for .NET to date, with features for developers, system administrators, business analysts and business policy managers. ILOG has improved ILOG Rules for .NET and ILOG Rule Solutions for Office (RSO), concentrating on key features such as rule editing, platform upgrades, service-oriented architecture (SOA) features, and improved installation and performance.

Unprecedented integration

ILOG RSO supports Microsoft Office 2007, providing new user experiences and improved synchronization with ILOG Rule Studio for .NET. No other BRMS has the same level of integration with the Microsoft ecosystem, as ILOG Rules for .NET works with more than 15 different products and technologies, including Office, Visual Studio and SharePoint Services.

The original guided rule editors have been replaced with Business Action Language (BAL) editors that support the same IntelliRule technology available in ILOG JRules, the market-leading ILOG BRMS, standardizing BAL across ILOG’s BRMS products.

ILOG RSO makes Office artifacts “executable,” so business analysts do not have to adopt a new tool to edit rules and share them with developers, and the combination of RetePlus and FastPath in ILOG Rules for .NET 3.0 eliminates the need for customers to compromise in selecting algorithms.

ILOG Rule Execution Server for .NET has been added to ILOG Rules for .NET to offer greater support for SOA and rule execution sharing in general. The module aligns the BRMS with Microsoft’s charted SOA strategy and further demonstrates support of the Microsoft ecosystem.

ILOG Rules for .NET 3.0 and participation in the Microsoft Business Process Alliance further strengthen our position as a leading provider of business rule management systems (BRMSs) for business process management (BPM) and service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions.

Through the Microsoft alliance, ILOG joins a market-leading group of independent software vendors (ISVs) and will collaborate in enabling companies to differentiate themselves through BPM and SOA solutions on the .NET platforms.
