Indra Improves Gov. Access
Tramit@ portal puts public in contact with lawmakers

Government access has been greatly improved in Spain with Tramit@, an Indra Sistemas Web solution for reaching public administrations.

Built with ILOG JRules and ILOG JViews Component Suite, Tramit@ provides a portal through which the public can access government information and communicate with agencies. It also helps officials look for documents internally and share them with other administrators.

The two ILOG Java products do the difficult job of working with the public by providing the first-contact graphical interface for logging on. ILOG JViews powers the interface, while ILOG JRules provides the business rule logic that instantly checks users and determines their accessibility. On the opposite side, the ILOG software components assist administrators in processing files and requests from the public. They also provide tools for notifying users of work in progress, and monitoring and improving workflow.

Tramit@ allows processes to be defined graphically with ILOG JViews. Workflow technicians can use Tramit@ to construct administrative processes and manage them with tasks and resources, monitor the system with SMS alerts, and generate reports and statistics on data flow. Tramit@ fully complies with the standards and recommendations of the Workflow Management Coalition.
