ILOG Ports to .NET
ILOG's C++ business rule, optimization and visualization software components have been ported to Microsoft's .NET platform, and the company will strengthen its product lines' Web services and .NET support throughout 2002. ILOG's leading Java products, including ILOG JRules, ILOG JConfigurator and ILOG JViews Component Suite, already support Web services on the Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) platform.
ILOG Rules, ILOG Views and the ILOG Optimization Suite will be available in mid-March, supporting the Microsoft Visual C/C++ 7 (MSVC) compiler, which will enable ILOG customers to create applications for the .NET platform. ILOG OPL Studio already has built-in support for .NET via Microsoft's Component Object Model (COM). For more information on ILOG products for .NET, visit www.ilog.com/products/technology/dotnet.cfm.
For Web services, ILOG JConfigurator, ILOG JRules and ILOG JViews can be embedded within Web services on the leading J2EE application server platforms. This lets customers build Web services for customized product and service configuration, and uniformly implement company policies. Already endorsed by major EAI and B2B vendors, ILOG JViews can visually define a process flow, and work in concert with ILOG JRules to express business policies.
