Pact puts ILOG JRules in TradeForce
As a leading provider of integrated solutions to more than 200 of the world's leading financial institutions, Financial Fusion has built critical parts of the world's financial infrastructure. A wholly owned subsidiary of Sybase Inc., the company has formed a collaborative partnership with ILOG to build a new straight through processing (STP) solution.
The new solution will enable the business rule management functionality of ILOG JRules to be combined with the enterprise application integration features of Financial Fusion TradeForce. This will empower users to dynamically manage their STP processes with ILOG business rule management, and extend the reach of Financial Fusion TradeForce to a wider market.
The solution will enable Financial Fusion TradeForce users to standardize their financial messaging systems for trade initiation, reconciliation and settlement cycles. ILOG JRules will complement the application by automating decision-making related to reference data management, compliance (pre- and post-trade validation), and exception-based management.
Many leading securities companies already use ILOG JRules in asset management, but this solution is expected to further strengthen ILOG JRules' growing presence in the STP market. Sybase and ILOG plan to co-market the solution to securities and investment customers in France.
"By adding ILOG JRules to the solution, we will be able to give business users more access to the power of TradeForce, while creating a more agile STP platform."
