Together, Singapore’s Infocomm Development Authority and ILOG are leading Singapore’s IT community into the 21st century. As the Asia-Pacific region strengthens its position as a leading world market, it is more crucial than ever that those who lead the companies have more direct control over the IT systems that drive their companies. ILOG’s BRMS empowers business users to manage and execute business policies directly. This is a significant departure from the traditional approach of withholding access to the internal workings of IT systems from those primarily responsible for making business decisions. Developed in collaboration with Singapore’s Infocomm Development Authority (IDA), the new center assists system integrators and independent software vendors in developing BRMS-based solutions for both local and overseas markets. It helps companies create pilot projects and solutions for industries that include financial services, healthcare, logistics and telecommunications.

BRMS CoE has the infrastructure and expertise required to conduct IDA-certified courses. The center is expected to train as many as 250 IT professionals to develop BRMS solutions.

“The adoption and development of technological products and solutions among businesses can be the differentiating factor between winners and losers in the market,” says Chan Yeng Kit, CEO of IDA. “We, therefore, encourage local companies to embrace BRMS solutions to gain a winning edge over competitors.”
