Another first for ILOG
We like being first. For the new IBM WebSphere® Process Server and ILOG JRules, it has happened yet again.

Via a connector developed by ILOG, ILOG JRules is the first business rule management system (BRMS) able to seamlessly integrate with IBM’s new WebSphere Process Server. It enables business and technology managers at Global 2000 corporations to better manage their policy-intensive business processes. Part of the IBM WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus (www-306.ibm.com/software/integration/wsesb), the new server is based on open standards to reduce the time, cost and risk of integration projects, simplify moving information between applications, and make IT more responsive and flexible to changing business demands.

ILOG JRules complements the new IBM server by automating the implementation of complex business policies and centralizing business rule management for the entire enterprise. It supports such complex processes as insurance claims processing, loan and insurance underwriting, and promotions and loyalty management.

ILOG JRules is an essential part of many business process management solutions, as it ensures the highest level of agility and customization for these applications. The business rules for implementing policies can be managed separately from the applications, foregoing the more cumbersome approach of traditional software coding.

ILOG has been a member of IBM’s PartnerWorld program for four years. It already has an ILOG JRules integration and co-selling agreement for IBM’s WebSphere MQ Workflow™ products, and is a participant in IBM’s business performance management initiative.
