ILOG JRules Rule Scenario Manager
Make applications work the first time
Probably the best – and potentially the most expensive – way to fully test an application is to deploy it and then cross your fingers and hope it works. ILOG JRules Rule Scenario Manager (RSM) offers a less stressful approach for applications that rely on business rules. It takes full advantage of the flexible architecture of market-leading ILOG JRules to provide a testing environment that puts sets of rules through their paces before deployment.

Users run new rules against reusable business scenarios created and stored with ILOG JRules RSM. They see exactly how the rules will work once deployed, and can even use what-if analysis in creating new rules and applications. Fully tested, the rules go into a central repository from which they are called by running applications. There is no need to change the applications’ proven code – and fewer reasons to fret over the results.

ILOG JRules RSM builds on ILOG JRules’ testing and debugging features, and provides an easy-to-use graphical user interface and advanced functionality to fully verify every rule. Learn more at http://jrules.ilog.com.

ILOG Visualization
Expanding the possibilities

Advances in our visualization product line have further expanded its possibilities for developers. Localization in Japanese, a new Linux port and support for the new Visual Studio 2005 (.NET 2.0) keep user interfaces built with our products at the forefront of technology.

  • ILOG JViews 6.5 in Japanese
Our customers in Japan are among our most committed. To keep them on track, we’ve fully localized ILOG JViews 6.5. Both the product and its documentation are now available in Japanese. Developers in Japan and elsewhere in the world can deliver fully interactive graphical interfaces in Japanese.
  • ILOG Views 5.1 ported to new Red Hat Linux
Sustained growth and adoption of the Linux platform has strengthened demand for our visualization software. We’ve fully ported the ILOG Views 5.1 suite of products to the new RedHat Enterprise Linux 4.0 for both 32- and 64-bit architectures. This new port is based on GCC 3.4, the latest C++ compiler in the new Linux.
  • ILOG Gantt for .NET 3.0 ported to Visual Studio 2005 (.NET 2.0)
Set for release in the first quarter of 2006, ILOG Gantt for .NET 3.0 and its Project Management components will be fully ported to Visual Studio 2005 (.NET 2.0). The product that made Gantt charts happen for .NET will stay in the lead in this growing market.
