The Trial Version of ILOG Rules for .NET 3.0.1 is a delivered as a .zip file containing the following elements:

The Windows installers are plain executables.

System specifications
To ensure adequate performance, ILOG Rules for .NET requires the following minimum system specifications:

Processor: 450-megahertz (MHz) Pentium II-class processor; 600-MHz Pentium III-class processor recommended
RAM: 512 megabytes
Hard disk: 50 megabytes

Installing and Uninstalling the ILOG Rules for .NET Trial Version

Before you install the different elements of the ILOG Rules for .NET Trial Version, you must make sure that your system meets the hardware and software requirements as listed in the section above.

Installing the ILOG Rules for .NET Trial Version

To install the ILOG Rules for .NET Trial Version:

Launch ILOGRulesForDotNET3.0.1eval.exe.
Follow the instructions in the installation wizard.
Launch ILOGRuleSolutionsForOfficeSystem3.0.1eval.exe.
Follow the instructions in the installation wizard.
Launch ILOGRulesForDotNetQuickStart3.0.exe.
Follow the instructions in the installation wizard.

Note: You must install the different elements in the order listed above.

Uninstalling the ILOG Rules for .NET Trial Version

To uninstall the different elements of the ILOG Rules for .NET Trial Version, you use the Windows Add or Remove Programs tool:

On the Start menu, click Settings, then click Control Panel.
Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
In the Currently installed programs list, locate the module of the ILOG Rules for .NET Trial Version you want to remove, and select it.
Click Remove for the module you want to remove.
Repeat the above steps for each module you want to remove.
