Step 5: Create a new rule by copying an existing rule

In this step you will create a new pricing rule for the Coverage special offer. This rule is very similar to the "Long Term Special offer: Pricing" rule.
Instead of creating the rule from scratch, you will copy the existing rule then modify it as required.
Copy an existing rule

In the RuleDoc Outline section of the RuleDoc pane, click the "Long Term Special Offer: Pricing" rule to select it.

Press CTRL+C to copy the rule, (or click the Copy Rule button in the RuleDoc Outline section of the RuleDoc pane).
The rule is copied to the clipboard.

Scroll to the bottom of the document and select the paragraph containing the placeholder "[Coverage Special Offer: Pricing]".

Press CTRL+V to paste the rule (or click the Paste Rule button in the RuleDoc Outline section of the RuleDoc pane).
The previously copied rule is inserted into the document with the title "Copy of Long Term Special Offer: Pricing"
Modify the copied rule

Edit the title of the rule and change it to: "Coverage Special Offer: Pricing".

Click on the name tab in the top left corner of the business rule content control to select the rule.

On the Home tab, in the Editing group, click Replace (or press CTRL+H).
The Find and Replace dialog appears.

In the Find what box, type
Long Term.

In the Replace with box, type
Coverage.

Click Replace All.

Click No in the message box asking you if you want to search the rest of the document.
The changes to the rule are now complete.

Click Save (or press CTRL+S) to save your changes before continuing.
