When you open a RuleDoc, ILOG Rule Solutions for Office compares the content of the document with the underlying business rule data. If inconsistencies are detected, the RuleDoc Repair Wizard appears to help you correct these problems.

Every element that appears in a RuleDoc must have a corresponding element in the business rule data that is embedded in the RuleDoc file to ensure consistency when synchronizing RuleDocs with Rule Team Server for SharePoint.

When you edit a RuleDoc using ILOG Rule Solutions for Office, consistency is maintained automatically. However, problems may occur in the following situations:

Using the RuleDoc Repair Wizard, you can insert/remove elements from the underlying business rule data, or insert/remove rule controls in the document to correct these kinds of problems.
