You can display rule properties inside a RuleDoc by inserting them from either the Rule Properties List, or from the Rules tab in the Ribbon.

You can insert rule properties anywhere within a Business Rule except within the Rule Body content control.

You can insert ruleflow properties anywhere in a Ruleflow, except within the Ruleflow diagram content control.

To insert a rule property using the Rule Properties list
  1. Place the insertion point so that it is inside a rule, but outside of the rule body.
  2. For ruleflow properties, place the insertion point so that it is inside the Ruleflow content control, but outside of the Ruleflow diagram content control.
  3. In the Rule Properties section of the RuleDoc pane, select the property you want to insert, then click Insert Property in Document.
  4. The rule or ruleflow property is inserted into the document as a content control.
To insert a rule property from the Ribbon
  1. Place the insertion point so that it is inside a rule but outside of the rule body content control.
  2. For ruleflow properties, place the insertion point so that it is inside the Ruleflow content control, but outside of the Ruleflow diagram content control.
  3. On the Rules tab, in the Format group, click Insert Rule Property, then select the property you want to insert.

    The rule or ruleflow property is inserted into the document as a content control.
