Organizing Rows and Columns

The Decision Table Editor has features for controlling how rows and columns are organized.

To move a row

In the Decision Table Editor, right-click a cell in the row you want to move, and on the shortcut menu click Move Row Up or Move Row Down.

The row is swapped with the row above or below it.

To sort a condition column

In the Decision Table Editor, right-click a cell a condition column, and on the shortcut menu click Sort Ascending or Sort Descending.

If you clicked a cell in ...	Then...
the left -most condition column	the cells are sorted normally in ascending or descending order
a condition column containing partitions	only the cells inside the partitions are sorted normally--the partitions are preserved
any other condition column	the cells are not sorted
