Support for Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
ILOG Diagrammer for .NET 1.5 makes it possible to build diagrams with WPF, with new components that simplifiy development. Developers can take advantage of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 WPF's design surface to easily create diagrams made of nodes and links.
The new and traditional variety of Microsoft WPF data sources includes:
- XmlDataProvider
- ObjectDataProvider
- Dataset
- Arrau
- Collection objects
Visual designers get several advanced styling and layout options with ILOG Diagrammer for .NET's controls for Microsoft WPF. Graphs created from data sources can be automatically arranged by a large variety of graph layout algorithms that can be specified and tuned-either in XAML or by code. Customize nodes and links in a variety of ways: Microsoft WPF provides design and template features that facilitate the creation of dynamic user interfaces.
New sub-graph object
IILOG Diagrammer for .NET provides a new graphic object called "SubDiagram" for visually representing sub-graphs. It offers in-place expand and collapse, the ability to pan displays with scrollbars, and customizable titles and icons.
Improved support for Ajax
New with Ajax-based interactions have been added, such as the ability to resize a diagram's nodes and to specify and change the connection points of links.
