Signing in to Rule Execution Server Console displays the home page, which is made up of a top banner and several tabs. The tabs let you access system administration information and tasks. The contents of each of these tabs is described in the following sections:

The Top Banner

The top banner stays available regardless of which tab is currently selected. Other than giving you access to the other tabs, the top banner lets you:

The Home Tab

The Home tab is displayed each time you log in to Rule Execution Server Console.

The Home tab serves as a Welcome page. It displays the version of the console in the splash screen and a brief description of the other tabs.

The Explorer Tab

The Explorer tab provides a view of the deployed archives and a view of available transparent decision services. A Navigator panel is always available on the left side, which provides a collapsible table of contents of the RuleApps and the rulesets they contain, as well as the list of transparent decision services.

Breadcrumbs are provided in the Explorer pages to help you locate where you are and where you have came from. The breadcrumbs are also links that you can click to move back along the same path.

The Diagnostics Tab

The Diagnostics tab provides a feature to test the execution of a ruleset on all Execution Unit (XU) instances (typically cluster members) that are visible to the management console. The diagnostics result provides an unambiguous view of all the members of a cluster.

The Server Info Tab

The Server Info tab provides a resume of the server at that moment. The following information is displayed:

Details of the running Execution Units (XU) are displayed as well as a full listing of the logging events. There are three types of log messages: info, warnings, and errors. These can be viewed by selecting the type in the drop-down filter.
