Online Helps > Rule Execution Server Console > Viewing and Managing RuleApps > Bookmarking a RuleApp View

Most Web browsers support bookmarking to help you keep track of important Web pages so you do not have to remember individual URL addresses. In the Rule Execution Server Console pages do not ordinarily display individual URLs, so this feature provides a way to navigate directly to a specified page.

To add a bookmark on a specific RuleApp View:

  1. Click the Explorer tab.
  2. Click RuleApps in the Navigator panel to display the RuleApps View.
  3. You can limit the displayed RuleApps using the View only: Latest version and Display by: 5, 10, 50, 100 filters.
  4. Click the name of the relevant RuleApp in the RuleApps View.
  5. The RuleApp View is displayed. You now have a full description of the RuleApp including: version, creation date, properties, and rulesets.
  6. Click Permanent link in the bottom right corner of the RuleApp description box. The full URL is then placed in the address bar.
  7. Add a bookmark or favorite for the current Web page being displayed using your browser.

One drawback of bookmarks is that they can become out of date. The Rule Execution Server Console Web pages are no different in this respect to other Web sites, since RuleApps can be removed, archived, or given a different version.
