Editing a Rule Execution Server Configuration

You can change the name or general configuration information of a Rule Execution Server Configuration.

To rename a configuration:

  1. In the Rule Explorer, expand the Rule Execution Server Configuration project.
  2. Right-click the Rule Execution Server Configuration, then click Refactor, then Rename.
  3. Enter the new name, then click OK.

To modify a configuration:

  1. Expand the Rule Execution Server Configuration project.
  2. Either double-click the Rule Execution Server Configuration, or right-click the configuration and click Open With > Rule Execution Server Configuration Editor.
  3. On the Overview page of the Rule Execution Server Configuration Editor, modify the general configuration information, as required.

Clicking the <servname>.esc tab displays the source of the file in view mode.
