Rule Project Properties Dialog

The Rule Project Properties dialog enables you to specify the properties of your rule project.

Open the dialog by right-clicking a rule project in the Rule Explorer and clicking Properties.

Section	Purpose
Info Page	Provides information about the rule project, including the path, type, location, modification date and encoding.
Builders Page	Configure builders used for the project. These can be added or imported and the order can be changed.
Dynamic Execution Object Model Page	Edit and change the order of BOM entries.
Categories Page	Define categories.
Dynamic Execution Object Model Page	Specify required XML binding files. You can add and edit local or external XSD and WSDL files and designate their order.
Java Execution Object Model Page	Specify the required Java projects and the system libraries.
Project Preferences Page	Specify what projects are referenced by the current project.
Rule Project Folders Page	Edit the rule project and output folders.
Rule Project References Page	Specify what rule projects are referenced by the current project.
Ruleset Extractors Page	Define the ruleset extractors.
Ruleset Parameters Page	Create and set the ruleset parameters.
Ruleset Properties Page	Define the properties of a ruleset.

Info Page

The Info page provides details on the path, type, location and project modification date. It also allows you to specify the default encoding for text files, Apply settings and Restore Defaults.

Builders Page

Allows you to configure the builders for the project as follows.

Buttons	Purpose
New	Select the configuration type.
Import	Import a launch configuration from the workspace.
Edit	Edit and change the launch configuration.
Remove	Click to remove the launch configuration selected.
Up/Down	Reorder the builders.

Dynamic Execution Object Model Page

Used as follows.

Section/Button	Purpose
XML Dynamic Bindings	Add, remove or edit required XML binding files, including XSDs and WSDLs using the buttons described below.
Add XSD	Add XSD in the workspace.
Add External XSD	Add XSD from a file system.
Add WSDL	Add WSDL from the workspace.
Add External WSDL	Add WSDL from the file system.
Order	Control the order of the XSDs and WSDLs.

Project Preferences Page

Used to control what other projects in the workspace are referenced by the project. This list is for information purposes only.

Ruleset Properties Page

This page allows you to:

Define the properties of a ruleset
Define advanced properties for the ruleset
Specify an engine configuration file
