The Query Editor enables you to write queries using the Business Query Language (BQL). To open the Query Editor:

The Query Editor is used as follows.

Displays the name of the query. 
Documentation 
Allows you to edit the documentation for the query. 
Code 
Queries are defined using the elements, conditions and actions displayed in a drop-down lists when you click a field in the Code section of the editor.  
The query is performed on the elements you select. The conditions and actions available depend on the elements selected. 
Run 
Use Run query to execute the condition part of the query and display the result in a Search panel. Use Run query actions to execute the action part of the query once you have validated that the query result. 
If you select Include project dependencies in query scope, the query will be run on the target rule project and on the elements of any rule project on which the target project depends. 
If you select Keep the results up to date, the query will be re-evaluated when changes occur.
