Reference > Rule Studio User Interface > Editors and Views > Rule Execution Server Configuration Editor

A configuration defines a connection to a specific Rule Execution Server. A configuration consists of several settings: a Uniform Resource Locator (URL), a login, and a password, which are used to establish a connection ID.

Rule Execution Server Configurations are stored in a Rule Execution Server Configuration project. To open a configuration editor double-click a Rule Execution Server configuration in the Rule Explorer. The editor is also opened when you click Finish in the creation wizard.

The editor lets you specify general information and test the configuration that enables Rule Studio to connect to a running Rule Execution Server, as follows.
