Decision Table Editor

To open the Decision Table Editor, in the Rule Explorer:

Use the pages as follows.

Click the General tab to display the General page, used as follows.

Section	Purpose
General Information	Name of the decision table.
Documentation	Allows you to edit the documentation of the decision table.
Preconditions	Set of conditions that are added before any rules generated by the decision table.
Filter	Provides the list of categories defined as a category filter and the option to Edit them.

The Decision Table Editor toolbar lets you edit the rows and columns in a decision table.

	Insert all domain values.
	Remove a branch.
	Merge a cell.
	Split a cell.
	Move up.
	Move down.
	Insert condition column before.
	Insert condition column after.

	Enable or disable action.
	Insert action column before.
	Insert action column after.
	Move action column left.
	Move action column right.
	Switch to spreadsheet view.
	Open Decision Table Properties Dialog.

In a table you can define format settings for a column or for individual cells:

The Format page settings include:

Section	Purpose
Apply to Column(s)	Select the columns to which to apply formatting.
Format	Specify a Format Expression.
Alignment	Specify the horizontal and vertical alignment of the action column cell.
Font	Specify the font Family, Style, Size, Foreground and Background.
Preview	Preview the format settings you have selected.
