The Server Configuration page prompts you to specify information about the application server, client and the Rule Execution Server Console.

Name 
Installation directory 
Select the directory in which the application server is installed. 
Deployment directory 
Automatically entered when you select the installation directory for Tomcat and JBoss servers, but you can change it to another directory if required. 
Rule Execution Server URL 
Used to specify the URL, Login, Password, and test the connection. 
Depending on the application server selected, the name of the application and URL will be displayed automatically. Possible URLs include: 
When you create a Rule Execution Server Configuration project from the New Client Project for RuleApps, the URL is automatically set. 
Login 
Enter a valid Rule Execution Server username. 
Password 
Enter a valid password for the Rule Execution Server username specified. 
Test Connection 
Used to test the connection to the Rule Execution Server Console. 
Client application URL 
Enter the URL for the client application.
