To view and manage Scenario Service Providers (SSPs) and to create new ones, click the Admin tab to display the Administration View page.

On this page, you can manage the SSPs that serve the rulesets to be selected in scenario definitions. The rulesets are stored within RuleApps on Rule Execution Servers, on which they are executed when you launch a scenario. SSPs can be added and removed, and the RuleApps they serve can be explored.

From the SSP Servers page, you can perform the following actions:

View and explore the SSPs configured in the Console

  1. Click SSP Servers in the Services column.
  2. The SSP Servers list of registered Scenario Service Providers appears, showing the name, description, hostname, and status of each:

  3. Click Explore in the row of an SSP to view the RuleApps available on it.
  4. The RuleApps List appears, showing the name, version, creation date, and the number of rulesets contained in each RuleApp:

Configure a new SSP

  1. Click SSP Servers in the Services column.
  2. The SSP Servers list of registered Scenario Service Providers appears.
  3. Click Add at the bottom of the list.
  4. The Add Server page appears, showing the fields in which you specify the new SSP:

  5. Enter a display Name, a short Description, and the URL for the server. Note that a name and URL are required, but a description is optional.
  6. Specify a Username and Password to access the Scenario Service Provider. The default username/password to access a Rule Execution Server is bres/bres.
  7. Click Add.

The SSP Servers list is displayed again, this time including the new server.

Delete SSP servers

  1. Click SSP Servers in the Services column.
  2. The SSP Servers list of registered Scenario Service Providers appears.
  3. Click Delete in the row of the server that you want to remove from the Console.

To delete multiple servers, click their checkboxes in the left column of the SSP Servers list, and click Delete Selected Items.
