The Rule Scenario Manager Console lets you manage your rule testing environment. It is intended for policy managers to run test cases of rulesets on defined sets of input data, tracked by a set of performance tests, to determine the suitability of a set of business rules. A rule test case so defined is called a scenario.
In each scenario, you specify deployed rulesets to execute, and input data to execute the rules on. A set of tests can be applied to track the performance of the execution of the rules. Testing against a baseline report allows for regression testing of the rules as they evolve. In scenario suites and simulations, you specify key performance indicators (KPIs) to follow the performance evolution of scenarios and suites over modifications to the rules.
The results of an execution of a scenario, scenario suite, or simulation are contained in a detailed report, which can be viewed online or saved.
