Downloading Reports

Reports can be downloaded as a file and used in other applications. For example, downloading a report as XML stores the complete ruleset execution trace, which can be useful for a developer to monitor a ruleset's performance.

To download a report:

  1. Click the Reports tab to display the Report View.
  2. Click View in the row of the report to download.
  3. At the bottom of the report, click the icon representing the format in which you wish to download the report: XML, Excel, or HTML.
  4. Open or save the file as required.

Tip
Developers can modify the appearance of HTML reports using the BIRT templates provided in the scenariomanager/samples directory. Additional data can also be added to the HTML reports using the graphical report designer.
