Launching Scenarios

You can launch a scenario from the Scenario Builder page or from the Scenario Browser list of available scenarios. This executes the ruleset and applies the scenario's tests to the execution results, resulting in a detailed scenario report.

Note that if a ruleset path has not been specified in the scenario definition, or if an SSP is not available to launch the scenario, then the Launch button is disabled. You must first correct the scenario definition or connect to a valid SSP before you can launch the scenario.

To launch a scenario:

  1. Click Scenarios in the menu bar to display the Scenario Browser.
  2. Launch a scenario in one of the following ways:
    3. - Click Launch in the Action column in the row of the scenario to execute.
    - Click Edit in the Action column in the row of the scenario to execute, edit the scenario if required, and click Launch at the bottom of the Scenario Builder.

At the end of the scenario execution, the scenario report is displayed in the Console. See Reports for details.
