Online Helps > Rule Scenario Manager Console > Scenarios > Editing Scenarios

Editing a scenario is similar to creating a new one; you simply modify the definitions of the existing scenario and save the changes. Modifications are done in the Scenario Builder, which displays the elements of the scenario selected in the Scenario Browser.

If you edit a scenario that belongs to a scenario suite (and ultimately to a simulation), the modifications to the scenario are recognized automatically by the owning suite and simulation.

To edit a scenario definition:

  1. Click the Scenarios tab to display the Scenario Browser.
  2. Click Edit in the Action column in the row of the scenario to edit. The Scenario Builder appears displaying the scenario definition.
  3. Edit the scenario as required. See Creating New Scenarios for details on building scenarios.
  4. Click Save to save your changes. Note that you can click Save at any time during the scenario modification process to register your changes up to that point.

When you have finished editing the scenario, you can Launch it directly from the Scenario Builder. See Launching Scenarios for details.
