Launching Simulations

You can launch a simulation from the Simulation Builder page or from the Simulation Browser list of available simulations. This launches the member scenario suites and calculates the simulation KPI, and results in a detailed simulation report.

A simulation cannot be launched if no executable scenario suites have been specified in its definition, or if no SSP is available to launch it. This is indicated by an inactive Launch button. You must first correct the simulation definition or connect to a valid SSP before you can launch the simulation.

To launch a simulation:

  1. Click the Simulations tab to display the Simulation Browser.
  2. Launch a simulation in one of the following ways:
    3. - Click Launch in the Action column in the row of the simulation to execute.
    - Click Edit in the Action column in the row of the simulation to execute, edit the simulation if required, and click Launch at the bottom of the Simulation Edit box.

At the end of the simulation execution, the simulation report is displayed in the Console. See Reports for details.
