Viewing Scenario Suites in the Scenario Suite Browser

To view and manage scenario suites and to create new ones, click the Scenario Suites tab to display the Scenario Suite Browser page:

The left part of this page is the Suite Navigator, which displays the folders in which scenario suites can be organized, and the right part of the page is the Scenario Suite Browser, which displays the scenario suites.

Suite Navigator

The Suite Navigator displays the folder hierarchy in which scenario suites are organized. The names of the folders and their subfolders are listed in a tree hierarchy, along with the number of suites contained in each folder. Scenario suites can be assigned to folders when they are created or edited; see Creating New Scenario Suites.

You can restrict the display of suites in the Scenario Suite Browser to only those contained in a specific folder by clicking the folder's name in the navigator. The folder name is highlighted and the Working Folder notice below the tabs states the active folder:

The current working folder applies to all the artifact pages of the Console, namely Scenarios, Scenario Suites, Simulations, Reports, as well as Test Sets and Input Datasets. When you navigate between these pages, the artifacts displayed in their respective browsers are restricted to those contained in the working folder. A folder is automatically deleted from the navigators when all artifacts have been removed from it.

You can hide the folder navigation tree from view, while keeping the working folder at its current setting, by clicking the double arrow symbol to the right of the navigator title:

The navigator title changes to show the name of the working folder:

Click the double-arrow symbol to revert to the full navigator view.

Scenario Suite Browser

The Scenario Suite Browser displays the scenario suites in the currently selected folder, or all suites in the database when Show All is selected. The browser displays the Name, Folder, and Description of each suite.

You can perform up to four Actions on each scenario suite:

Edit a scenario suite: opens the Scenario Suite Builder, allowing you to view and modify the components of a selected suite. See Editing Scenario Suites.
Launch a scenario suite: invokes the execution of the suite, producing a scenario suite report with member scenario execution results and the KPI result. This option is inactive if no executable scenarios have been specified in the scenario suite definition or if no SSP is available to launch the suite. See Launching Scenario Suites.
Download a scenario suite: packages and saves the suite and its dependent elements into an RSM archive. See Downloading a Scenario Suite as an RSM Archive.
Delete a scenario suite: deletes the suite from the database. This option is inactive if the scenario suite is a member of a simulation. See Deleting Scenario Suites.

Two other actions you can perform in the browser are to delete multiple suites, by selecting them in the list and clicking Delete Selected Items, and to start the process of building a new scenario suite, which is done by clicking Create a new suite at the bottom of the scenario suite list.
