Viewing Test Sets in the Test Set Selector |
PREVIOUS NEXT |
To view and manage test sets and to create new ones, click Select/Change Test Set in any scenario definition to open the Test Set Selector:
The left part of this page is the Test Sets Navigator, which displays the folders in which test sets can be organized, and the right part of the page is the Test Set Selector, which displays the test sets.
The Test Sets Navigator displays the folder hierarchy in which test sets are organized. The names of the folders and their subfolders are listed in a tree hierarchy, along with the number of test sets contained in each folder. Test sets can be assigned to folders when they are created or edited; see Working with Test Sets.
You can restrict the display of test sets in the Test Set Selector to only those contained in a specific folder by clicking the folder's name in the navigator. The folder name is highlighted and the Working Folder notice below the tabs states the active folder:
You can hide the folder navigation tree from view, while keeping the working folder at its current setting, by clicking the double arrow symbol to the right of the navigator title:
The navigator title changes to show the name of the working folder:
Click the double-arrow symbol to revert to the full navigator view.
The Test Set Selector displays the test sets in the currently selected folder, or all test sets in the database when Show All is selected. The browser displays the Name and Folder of each test set.
You can perform up to three Actions on each test set:
Three other actions you can perform in the browser are to delete multiple test sets, by selecting them in the list and clicking Delete Selected Items, to start the process of creating a new test set by clicking Create a new Test Set, and to load XML files containing test set definitions.
All the above actions are described in greater detail in the next section.
