This Rule Service Deployment Tutorial guides you through the Web interface of Rule Scenario Manager, to help you test and simulate your business rules designed in JRules. Hands-on tasks will help you understand the concepts of test scenarios and of rule simulation.

Rule Scenario Manager introduces the concept of scenarios. A scenario is a defined test case of a JRules ruleset, comprising the ruleset, the input data it will be executed on, and tests on the execution results. The result of launching a scenario is a detailed scenario report, which contains the ruleset execution results and the test results. A scenario report can be retained and used as a basis for tests in further scenarios, allowing regression testing of rules.
