Generating Business Rule Reports

Business rule reports provide detailed information on the artifacts in rule packages. They can be run against:

To generate a business rule report:

  1. In the Rule Explorer, right-click a rule project, a rule package or rules folder and click Rule Report > Business Rule.

  2. In the Reporting wizard, on the Business Rule Report page, enter the Name of the report and the Location where you want the report to be generated.
    3. The location can be within the workspace or in an external location.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Select a BIRT template. By default the template business_rule_report is selected. If you have added customized report templates, they appear in this list.
  5. Click Finish.
    6. The business report is generated and saved to the location you specified, and automatically displayed:
