Setting Filter Elements

You can customize the elements that appear in the Rule Explorer by setting filters through the Rule Explorer Filters dialog.

To set up a filter:

  1. Select Filters in the drop-down menu in the title bar of the Rule Explorer to open the following:

    The Rule Explorer Filters dialog shows the filters that have been set and can be used to set filters.
  2. To apply a filter, check the items you want to hide in the Rule Explorer view and click OK.
    3. The display of all rule projects in the explorer are updated to hide selected elements.

You can also filter elements with patterns by selecting the Name filter patterns box. Patterns are separated by a comma. Use ? for a single-character wildcard and * for a multi-character wildcard.
