Before You Start

This tutorial introduces you to the vocabulary, a layer of natural language on top of the Business Object Model (BOM), and how to set it up for efficient rule editing.

This vocabulary needs to be thoroughly defined so that policy managers can edit rules efficiently. See Tutorial Scenario for details.

What You Need to Know

This tutorial is intended for developers and business analysts who want to set up a vocabulary for rule editing in Rule Studio. It assumes that you are familiar with the Eclipse environment.

Verbalize the business object model for rule editing
Extend the business object model
