Breakpoints

The Breakpoints view allows you to view breakpoints that stop the execution of rules at any point to examine the state of variables, the agenda, and working memory.

There are three types of breakpoints:

Breakpoints on rule expressions
Breakpoints on XOM classes and class members
Breakpoints on objects in the working memory

You can set breakpoints in:

a BAL rule (in the action part)
a technical rule
decision tables and trees (in an action cell)
a function
a ruleflow
a rule task (in the Ruleflow Editor)
the working memory of the rule engine (when executing with the RetePlus execution mode)
the BOM
the BOM to XOM mapping code
