Click File > New > Project.

Expand the ILOG Rule Studio category, select Client Project for RuleApps, and then click Next.

Expand Rule Scenario Manager, select Scenario, and then click Next.

Enter the Project name and location, and then click Next.

Select the RuleApp project for which you want to generate the project, and then click Next.

Select the ruleset archive(s) that you want to execute from the project, and then click Next.

Specify the scenario components:
- Name: Enter a name for the scenario.
- Description: Enter a short description of the scenario.
- Input Data File: Specify the name of the file containing the ruleset input data.
- Baseline Report: If you want to use results from a baseline report as test values in the scenario's tests, select a baseline report.
- Report Name: Specify a name for the scenario report.
- Canonical Ruleset Path: If you want to execute a specific version of the ruleset in the scenario, click this option on.

Click Next.

Either accept the default execution trace filters, or specify which filters you want to use.
The default trace filters include all data in the execution trace except for the working memory and the lists of objects that triggered the firing of the rules. Defining a more selective execution trace can improve performance.

Click Next.

Specify the configuration you want to use for the scenario. Select one of the following:
- Use the default configuration: If you want to use a default configuration for the scenario, for example, one associated with a parent scenario suite or simulation.
- Choose an existing configuration: To use an existing configuration other than the default. Specify the configuration file you want to use.
- Create a new configuration: Select this option to build a new configuration. When you click
Next, three further wizard pages follow in which you can define the configuration. See
Defining a New Configuration for more information.

Click Finish.
