Extend Your Existing IT Investments and Predict Risk Cost Effectively
ILOG Rule Studio Scorecard Modeler is an add-on module that extends the range of ILOG JRules—the market-leading ILOG Business Rule Management System (BRMS), allowing ILOG customers to incorporate statistical scorecard models directly into decision services created and managed with ILOG JRules.
ILOG Scorecard Modeler has a simple user interface, created specifically for non-technical business users.
This section is for basic scorecard model design. You can define the attributes, ranges and scores (or mathematical formulae), as well as the associated reason code, to apply to your scorecard.

This section will help you create out-of-the-box reasoning strategies, including display controls, sorting, duplicates, etc, as well as scoring strategies that can easily be applied and managed in the "Scorecard Properties" tab.
The "Scorecard Properties" tab facilitates quick management of reason codes and their descriptions; and it allows you to manage complex scorecards.
How scorecards are used
Scorecards are widely used in the finance and retail industries for credit decisions, and in the insurance industry for predicting risk, detecting fraud and assigning actionable metrics to customer behaviors. Many other industries are becoming increasingly interested in using scorecards in situations where the difficulty of integrating a scoring process into automated decisions has previously discouraged the use of predictive models, leading to a reliance on ad hoc data sampling or subjective assessments to set decision policies.
Make better decisions, faster
By providing an accessible and easy-to-use tool for creating and maintaining scorecards that can be directly integrated with related business rules into a coherent decision service, ILOG Rule Studio Scorecard Modeler bridges the gap between predictive models developed with business intelligence tools and operational decisions managed by ILOG BRMS—creating better decisions that can be transparently managed, updated and audited.
