Contents of the JViews Charts Distribution

The following main directories are created when you install ILOG JViews Charts on your machine:

ILOG JViews Charts jar files

Here is the list of ILOG JViews Charts jar files provided in the lib directory:

• jviews-chart-all.jar - jar file that contains all of ILOG JViews Charts.
• jviews-chart.jar - jar file that contains everything needed to develop with ILOG JViews Charts. This jar does not contain the Designer or the JSF support.

These libraries are using internally software provided under the different public licenses, please see Legal terms for more details.

In addition ILOG JViews Charts also uses some of the libraries provided by ILOG JViews Framework, you can find more details in the ILOG JViews Framework Distribution Structure.

Additional directories

The following main directories exist in the distribution:

• bin - contains the following applications:
  • The ILOG JViews Charts Designer that allows you to graphically connect the Charts to your data as well as style the graphical objects in the Charts.
  • The jlmdeploy application required in order to deploy an application built with an ILOG JViews product.
  • The jhostid application that prints the host id required to obtain a license in order to run an ILOG JViews product.
• doc - contains all the documentation related to ILOG JViews Charts.
• samples - contains sample applications to allow you to see particular aspects of the classes provided by ILOG JViews Charts.
• codefragments - contains code examples that illustrate specific aspects of JViews Charts.
