ILOG JViews Charts Eclipse Samples
ILOG JViews Charts provides a number of Eclipse samples built for
Eclipse 3.3.X. The Eclipse samples are
distributed as Eclipse features and plugins.
Installation of a new local site
In order to install the ILOG JViews Eclipse plugins you need to
install from the local site as shown below:
- Launch your Eclipse installation
- Go to Help/Software Updates/Find And Install
- In the Install/Update dialog box, click
"Search for new features to install"
- Define a New Local Site with the directory "<installdir>/jviews-framework81/tools/ilog.views.eclipse.update.site"
- Select the features you want to install
The ILOG JViews local site is automatically created during the installation
of your product. If you need to update the local site installation for any
reason there is a batch file that will build the Eclipse update site and patch
your ILOG JViews license key into the appropriate plugin. In order to rebuild
the ILOG JViews local site you should do as follows:
- Windows: <installdir>\jviews-framework81\tools\build_eclipse.bat
- UNIX: <installdir>/jviews-framework81/tools/build_eclipse.sh
The JLM license file
When you install the plugin with the update manager, the JLM license file is also installed in the directory <Eclipseinstalldir>/plugins/ilog.views.eclipse.framework.runtime_8.1.0/jlm.
If you receive a new keys.jlm file, you will need to copy it into this directory.
