About This Document

This document explains how to use ILOG JViews Diagrammer Symbol Editor to create symbols that display dynamic data. It also shows how to integrate them into other ILOG JViews tools. You will be using a GUI-oriented path to discover the Symbol Editor.

Using the Symbol Editor you can refine the graphic representation of data by associating parameters and conditions with a symbol. You can also specify how symbol elements will behave in response to changes to data.
