ILOG JViews Framework is the core layer of ILOG JViews. It is delivered and installed as the foundation to each of the other ILOG JViews products. It is composed of several packages including a hierarchy of classes that let you create, manage and interact various high-level graphic objects.

ILOG JViews Diagrammer is designed for the development of diagrams such as workflow diagrams, org charts, floorplan diagrams, graphs and grids. Based on nodes and links, it provides a model view architecture for diagrams using the styling paradigm with automatic graph layout facilities. ILOG JViews Diagrammer offers templates that you can develop and customize to your own requirements. It helps you obtain intuitive GUIs for stand-alone or Web-based presentation by giving you customizable components that precisely address end-user needs.

ILOG JViews Charts is a data visualization library for displaying your data in charts which can be easily integrated into any Java application. The package includes such features as:

External data connectors such as XML, Swing TableModel, and JDBC.

A GUI for customizing the look of the chart.

Deployment options such as a Swing GUI, server-side and client-side charts with thin-client support, or a SWT GUI.

ILOG JViews Gantt provides support for activity-oriented and resource-oriented Gantt charts, for creating, viewing, and editing primarily numerical data on resources and the activities assigned to them. It makes it easy to develop Gantt charts, Schedule charts, Resource Data charts, and Calendar Views for scheduling applications. It provides three chart components and two calendar view components that you can develop and customize to your own requirements.

ILOG JViews Maps offers a wide range of features to help create state-of-the-art displays that handle both the map background and the symbols placed on top of it. It includes a map preparation tool delivered as source code which allows you to mix and match raster, elevation, labels and vector information from the most popular data formats with minimized memory and CPU footprint.

ILOG JViews Maps for Defense extends the features provided by JViews Maps to manage military formats, 3D visualization, terrain analysis and specific military symbology.

ILOG JViews TGO greatly simplifies development of sophisticated communications user-interfaces. It provides a full set of high-level Java graphic components including tree, table, equipment and network views. These components are used in conjunction with predefined telecom objects and specialized object models to create detailed equipment, network and management system service displays used by Communication Service Providers. ILOG JViews TGO complies with recommendations from the TMF and the ITU standards bodies to give ready-to-use components with industry standard look and feel. ILOG JViews TGO relies on services provided by ILOG JViews Diagrammer and ILOG JViews Maps.
