The deployment tool, which is called jlmdeploy, copies the relevant RUNTIME license keys from the keys.jlm file to a file named deploy.txt, adds the file to the application's JAR file, and saves the modified JAR file under the given name. The deployed application no longer looks for the keys.jlm file, but uses the RUNTIME license keys that have been added to the application through jlmdeploy.
