The keys.jlm file is a text file containing the keys you need to evaluate the licensed ILOG products and to develop and deploy the applications that use them. The initial version of the file is supplied by ILOG when you first order ILOG Java-based products.

You install only one copy of the keys.jlm file on your system and you can edit it if, for example, you need to add more keys.

When you deploy an application, a deployment tool, jlmdeploy, copies the required keys from the keys.jlm file into the deployed application.

The keys.jlm file contains the file name, the license key and a list of keys, as shown in the example:
