This document explains how to use the Map Builder in ILOG JViews Maps to create a map, save it, and integrate it into an application. The Map Builder is an easy-to-use GUI for creating dynamic maps without writing Java code. However, you will need to write some Java code during the integration phase.

The Map Builder is used in conjunction with the Designer for JViews Diagrammer. The Designer is primarily used to style customized symbols to place on a map. A map created with the Map Builder can be used in the Designer.
