The equipment adapter converts business objects retrieved from the associated data source into instances of IlpEquipmentNode. The new representation objects are created by a representation object factory. The equipment adapter uses by default the IlpDefaultEquipmentNodeFactory that creates representation objects of type IlpDefaultEquipmentNode.
