The graphic representation of an off-page connector is based on the information that is available in the business model. Each decoration that is created depends on an attribute and on properties that can be customized through CSS. Although an off-page connector can have states and alarms set like any other predefined business object, its graphic representation is intended to be simple and highlight only the most important information about the object that it replaces.
Off-page connectors do not represent states, alarm counts or alarm balloons. The alarm information is represented in the object base, as in the following illustration.
