Introduction to ILOG CPLEX
ILOG CPLEX is the fastest available optimizer for solving linear, mixed integer, quadratic and mixed integer quadratic programs. ILOG CPLEX includes the ILOG CPLEX Callable Library and ILOG Concert Technology, making it easy to embed the powerful ILOG CPLEX algorithms in your application. You will learn why ILOG CPLEX is the industry standard.

ILOG CPLEX Performance Tuning
This tutorial will provide insight and recommendations on specific cases where advanced ILOG CPLEX performance tuning can yield dramatic results. Most optimization engines that use ILOG CPLEX’s default settings yield fast, robust results without user intervention. There are limited cases where algorithm default choice, available memory, or machine precision can affect performance and consume significant amounts of time in the application development or testing processes. This tutorial will discuss preparatory and developmental recommendations to address these situations for dramatic time savings in application development and deployment.

Overview of ILOG OPL-CPLEX Development System
After years of development, ILOG has introduced a major new version of ILOG OPL-CPLEX Development System, ILOG's leading system for developing optimization applications. ILOG OPL-CPLEX Development System 4.0 provides a powerful modeling and scripting language to develop optimization models, a rich integrated development environment (IDE) to build and test models with external data sources, and a variety of interfaces (APIs) to embed ILOG OPL models into applications. You will learn the new features inherent in ILOG OPL-CPLEX Development Studio, which facilitate faster and more robust development of ILOG CPLEX applications.

Methods for Embedding ILOG CPLEX
This presentation will give you an overview of the various methods for embedding ILOG CPLEX algorithms. Learn which approach is best suited for your specific optimization application development needs: the ILOG CPLEX Callable Library, ILOG Concert Technology or ILOG OPL Development Studio. You will learn the tradeoffs and benefits of each solution; and you will receive recommendations for specific application types. This presentation will give you a jump-start your optimization application planning and development, to ensure you get the most from your optimization application.

Improved CPLEX Model Development
The ILOG OPL-CPLEX Development System provides the fastest and most flexible way to develop an ILOG CPLEX-based optimization application model. ILOG OPL (Optimization Programming Language) is at the heart of ILOG OPL Development Studio. ILOG OPL is a modeling language that provides a number of unique benefits to help you with the core areas of modeling and application development. This presentation will cover: modeling your data input and expressing your model; and it will provide practical tips and techniques to make the best use of the ILOG OPL language and to accelerate development of ILOG CPLEX-based optimization applications.

ILOG Optimization Decision Manager (ODM) Overview
Creating interactive planning applications with ILOG CPLEX is now straightforward. ILOG ODM provides out-of-the-box support for what-if scenarios, solution comparison, soft constraints, scenario editing with business rules, and trade-offs between operational goals. Applications based on ILOG ODM 2.0 now support charts and custom graphical views in addition to tables, making optimization even more accessible to operations managers and planners.
